Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), more widely known as Slash, is an English-American[1] guitarist best known as the former lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses and as the current lead guitarist of Velvet Revolver. Known for wearing an accentuated top hat (earning himself the nickname “The cat in the Hat”), he is regarded by some as one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

Slash owns 80-90 guitars. Among them are the following:

In the June edition of Total Guitar, he dismisses talk of signing a deal with B.C. Rich guitars. He says that he uses them solely because of the tremolo arm and he uses his Gibsons 70% of the time. He gets sent a new one every 15 years.
Amplifiers
Slash is the first musician to own a signature amplifier created by Marshall for him.
* Marshall
o Vintage 1960’s Marshall 1959 modified by Tim Caswell at SIR studios; used for the recording of Appetite for Destruction (Attempted to be stolen, but returned accidentally by a roadie)

Just messing around with an Epi Flying V, loaded with fantastic HighOrder pickups. The amp is a 77 as a best guess, Risson ETA 100. A rare amp built by Bob Rissi. Slash and Lita Ford were noteable early users. Very much a juiced Marshall vibe, with a lot more tonal range. I love having the rare and obscure, so this amp will never leave the stable. I have a Weber Mass engaged, and am using a 2/12 cab loaded with Eminence GB12 speakers.

This is me playing Sweet Child O’ Mine by Guns N’ Roses using a backing track of the song.
The guitar I used is a Gibson Explorer with EMG 85 & 89 pickups and a Stetsbar whammy. The amplifier is a Fender Champ of 1975, with a Hughes & Kettner Tubeman distortion pedal and a Wah pedal.
