This is a pre500 (R0503) Revision D Mesa Boogie Dual Recto. Pre 500 were in 1992 only and are considered the ‘holy grail’ of Mesa Boogie Rectifiers-
This is a “fuzz muff” metal demo clip.
Here is a podcast of #22 of 300 sound check. We’re playing this Gibson Custom Shop Limited through a Mesa Boogie pre500 Dual Recto head and a Mesa Boogie Recto 2×12 vertical cabinet loaded with V30s (Vintage 30s). This particlular clip is fat and fuzzy tones.
