Ok, This is an improv on one of my sgs. I was just a testing the guitar out. This one is 61 reissue. The quallity is not the best due to fact that the camera is pretty crappy. Im playing the guitar straight through a Marshall 1959SLP 100WATT super lead plexi head with the settings close to angus young’s. please keep in mind if the gutiar sounds very distorted..its not..its just the camera. enjoy

Red Onions Blues on the ‘63 Gibson SG Special P-90 P90
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009
Riff song in — S T E R E O — is played on the 1963 Gibson SG Special guitar and the 1963 Gibson EB-2DC bass guitar. This is a song reminiscent of Booker T & The MG’s Freddy King and maybe even a little Link Wray. I recorded the guitar through a 1968 Fender Vibro Champ amp and recorded it on my Yamaha AW1600 workstation. This is a “dry” recording — no EQ and no effects, just live sound. I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT

Rock and Roll on a GIBSON SG.- The “SG”.
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009
Rocking out on a SG with a guitar magazine play-along- CD track as the backing . This gtr is a 1979 Gibson “The SG ” model . The Gibson Nashville factory produced these from late 70’s to early 80’s . This was a budget line that had dot markers instead block inlays , also I think they were made with lesser quality mahogany . As well as this , the Gibson name is painted on the headstock rather than inlaid , but they can still sound good . Gibson humbuckers on it are the same as on the expensive models . On this video was not using real amp , just a digital modelling pre-amp simulating a slightly overdriven tube amp, plugged into auxillary input of a solid state amp. The front pick up cover doesn’t have screw holes , the original covers were missing when I got this gtr , later replacement covers were put on but the front one didn’t have screw holes.

IN MY IMAGINATION, IN — S T E R E O –
Eric Clapton + John Paul Jones + Jon Bonham would have been my Led Zeppelin and in my imagination, it is.
I am no Eric Clapton, but then again, who is?
Played on the 1963 Gibson SG Special guitar.
