“Nola,” three-guitar Les Paul arrangement

“Nola” was composed as a ragtime piano piece in 1915 by Felix Arndt. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amMz6AAKE4Q for a version of Liberace performing the piece on piano in 1969.
The arrangement I recorded here, though, is the one by Les Paul — see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yzf7Ux9Q6iQ for the classic 1950s recording. Les Paul recorded the high-pitched lead guitar part by speeding up and slowing down the tape, so I used the same effect here. The lead guitar was recorded at half time and sped up 200% to give it that classic Les Paul sound. (The other guitar tracks were recorded in real-tempo, with no speeding.)
NOTE: For some reason the lead guitar video freezes toward the end of the clip. I believe this is due to a bug in Final Cut Express — couldn’t figure out why it was happening.

”Never Gonna Take Your Lies” by Nantucket (one of North Carolina’s best Rock Bands). This Southern classic track was written by band member Tommy Redd and is covered on guitar by Buddy Clontz with a Gibson Custom Historic Les Paul Custom Reissue. this is the first cover i upload on youtube. sorry for the bad quality but my cam isn’t that good.
i know that the bass can be very disturbing.
i play a gibson explorer 76 ebony and my amp is a peavey bandit 112. and here are the answers to some questions some people asked me.
