Mateus ficou com o segundo lugar e levou para casa uma Epiphone Les Paul Custom”

“In May, 2007, Mateus finished second in the national Gibson Guitar Contest, in São Paulo. More than 750 pieces of recordings were sent to the Technology and Guitar Institute (IG&T, in São Paulo). Mateus turned out as one of the top 12 and played in São Paulo to conquer the second place in the contest, with his instrumental version of Samurai (Djavan). “In second place, Mateus Schäffer from São José (SC) played Samurai (Djavan). He showed technique and elegance, with Lee Ritenour-style prases. He also stood out for his swing and right-hand timing. THIS IS THE BEST DRIVE PEDAL OUT THERE!!! Maybe its just me, but I’m in love with this thing…super versatile…easy to use…easy to dial up a tone…just killer. ANyhoo…I used a King Bee Guitars relic Tele and a Fender Blues Junior amplifier. Check out http://www.kingbeeguitars.com for all their info…I love my Telecaster they built for me, and have custom ordered more guitars, which I look forward to. Way above and beyond the quality from the Custom Shop….no lie…
