Same ol’ guitars. But shot “alone”.
The “soundtrack” (rofl) you hear is me. You have – well some of you – have been wondering about the style I wrote my own songs. This is it. Was done in oh 10 minutes (GarageBand: a little cute Apple software, since I can’t use ProTools yet on Mac Leopard) but this is my style, in case you wondered. Bluesy/rocky. I know, it’s repetitive here. But I was just experimenting with it. It’s three guitars, one fake loop of drums and bass. All played by me (not that this “song” could be considered difficult).
Please consider this just as a further attempt at quality video/audio.
While this uploads here on YouTube, I am uploading this same video, but in HD quality and stereo sound, onto vimeo.com
Great site for HD footage.
The solo playing guitar is the Yamano playing on GarageBand’s own amp simulation. Not GR3 therefore, not a real amplifier in any case. Still, pretty decent work for a piece of software that comes “free” on some Apple Macs. Should I be able to load more interesting rhythm pattern loops, I will be definitely going my own way (finally) at putting down my own music. While I don’t think the world is missing out on anything special without my own music, it could be (could) be interesting for some of you still willing to go for a classic rock way of playing guitar.
Thanks for watching!
PS
For those interested in the stereo version of the audio alone, please write me at solodallas@gmail.com and ask for the audio file. Will send it.
PS2
For personal reasons the *song* playing here has been renamed “Tim’s Song”. Timnlol’s song, that is. It wasn’t meant to be a song, but it is now. Cheers, Fil
