   i think anyone with a gibson is a pussy. everyone has one and they sound AWFUL no matter who you are or how u play it.

   rickenbacker is a real guitar. try one of those and you’ll agree.

    Methinks you’re just jealous because the girl HAS an SG and you DON’T.

    I am yet to come across a bad Gibson- you only get GOOD ones and BETTER ones. If you play guitar through a wimpy little solid state amp you bought at a yard sale then even the VERY strat that Hendrix HIMSELF played on will sound crap. And I am yet to experience a powerchord maniac be considered a "master".

    I think that it’s a good guitar for a girl because they are extremely light. But SG’s tend to have a rock sound only. So I would think that the girl liked rock music. They even have purple SG guitars now.
