Is the wired gibson sg guitar controller from gh 1 and 2 compatibile with rock band??
this is for th ps2, i have gh3 and th gibson sg guitar and i was wondering if i bought rock band if i would need to buy another guitar or if th gibson would work with it

They will not work i am really sorry, but if you were to just to get the game and one guitar of rock band, then when rock band 2 comes around this fall, you buy the bundle with the game and all the new instruments which are all greatly improved, then you can use ur rock band 1 guitar as a bass, the rock band 2 guitar as the lead, and you get a the AMAZINGLY IMPROVED new drums, and the mic (which i don't really see how they could improve)
The new drums are definitely worth the wait, i know ur probably thinking 'but i won't be able 2 play drums for like 2 or 3 months!!'
but the new drums ROCK, the old drums are fine and all, but they aren't very responsive, and the new ones have velocity sensitive pads, AND are much much quieter.
You would need the guitar for rockband – not compatible

no its not, but there is a guitar you can buy thats compatible with both at a gamestop. its called a nyko frontman guitar.
