At Guitar Center’s vintage room I’ve seen prices anywhere from 20-40 thousand dollars, possibly more.

I remember them being 3-7 grand back in 2001

Btw, The chances that the guitar would have been actually worth that are small. It would have had to have been taken care of for 40 years, and guitars that old never have original parts which really lowers the value.

on ebay right now there is one going for about 2.5k so around there would be my best guess

I love Gibson SG's but I believe the 60's SG's are considered more valuable. I'd say 3k at least.

It will not be worth as much as those Les Pauls If the serial number shows a non defected SG it can go couple of grand max
