    I think the sg …
I think the sg sounds more muffled and the les paul has more output volume. I personaly prefer the Les Paul!!!

  2. Fenderplayer2 says:

    I think sg, they …
I think sg, they are lighter, easier to play, have a much more practical design and have the sustain and beefy sound of the les paul but with a little more bite. Kinda like a cross between a telecaster and a les paul.

    I love Epiphones …
I love Epiphones beacouse they are engineered by Gibson and are a high quality guitars if you dont have the money to buy a Gibson … lol

  4. nirson123 says:

    are you joking?

    are you joking?
epiphone’s are low-quality in materials, for example mmm epiphone uses the low-quality pickups of gibson (at least that happens in $600 or less epiphone’s).

in wood, bridge etc etc are nearly the same(talking about $600 or more epiphone’s)

  5. MustangMarck says:

    What? Epiphone’s …
What? Epiphone’s are made by Gibson. They are engineered by Gibson. They are checked and tested by Gibson. They are designed by Gibson. The only difference is the finish and the country in which they were made.

oh, wow, that’s an intelligent comeback. In fact, so have all your posts. “the sounds are jsut nicer”. You couldn’t have supported that argument any better.

  17. stimps29 says:

    the sunburst strats …
the sunburst strats don’t look amazing but they’re not hideous either but the looks and sound of the les paul are just nicer.

  18. Stratosteven says:

    Some gibsons look …
Some gibsons look better, i’ll give that, but there are some really beautiful strats. Then again, looks isn’t what it’s about. Here’s an example for sound, even though the camera sucks. My profile, the featured video.

  19. Stratosteven says:

    That’s bias talking …
That’s bias talking, not experience. I’ve played both, and while being n00b myself (admittedly) there’s so much more you can get from a strat. In every style of music, except for death metal. I’ve been able to meet and exceed the les paul with my strat in every style of music, even jazz. Maybe that’s because i’m primarily a jazz player, but it’s true. Strat and jazz? it can be done.
