school of rock instruments?

what guitars and basses are used in the movie? i know theres:
-gibson flying v
-gibson sg
-fender tele (spider, looks like one)
-gibson xplorer
-gibson les paul

but what is the bass katie uses and the one the bassist from no vacancy uses? looks like a fender p but it has cool color…where can i get?

The bass Katie looks like a Gibson Les Paul bass, but I may be wrong.

The bass that guy uses is no doubt an American Vintage 1962 Precision Bass. Here's a picture:

the bass was a fender precision
it looked like a late 50's or early 60's model but was probably a copy.
there will be music shops that have similar ones.

The bass Katie is playing is NOT a Gibson Les Paul bass — She is playing a HOLLOW BODY bass with a much larger headstock with an ‘X’ designed mother-of-pearl inlay — with no name.

The Gibson Les Paul bass has a SOLID BODY, clearly marked Gibson with a smaller headstock.

  5. James Jamerson says:

The bass is a FRAMUS STAR BASS
