What pickups are in that? I’ve had a 77′ rd custom for years but don’t play it because the non-original pickups suck. I’ve got an sg 61 reissue & a old les Paul custom w/ seymour duncan 59’s in which I love the tone. At any rate I’m no guitar guru but like the sound of whats in yours.

I had a 1978 RD …
I had a 1978 RD standard, blonde w. rosewood, as my workhorse for many years. It was the most balanced, solid sounding guitar that I’ve ever owned. Nice one!
