Iv just been to the guitar shop.
I tried an epi hummingbird against a gibson.
There isnt much difference (sound wise or playability) obviously gibson has better materials, and im sure in time the gibson will mature far better.
But hey, i bought the epi and its great. If you want a warm bassy sound get 1

Gibson Hummingbird = Amazing Hand Rubbed Nitrocellulous Lacquer Finish, custom done dovetail neckjoint,(as opposed to bolt-on with the epi) solid mahogany back and sides, solid sitka spruce top, (as opposed to laminate everything with the epi) As well as the fact that all american gibsons are hand made in Bozeman, Montana (as opposed to asia with ALL ephiphones)

erm whats the diference between the gibson hummingbird and the epiphone hummingbird.. obviously apart from the make and slight design differences.. i mean is the epiphone a replica orf the gibson version?

also what is the sound like?
